Did McCain do the right thing?

Since McCain has suspended his campaigning and has headed to Washington he has taken some critical blows from Obama and some of Obama's Democratic colleagues. From what I understand Obama didn't think it was wise to mix presidential politics and delicate negotiations. McCain has has also been accused by spokesman Bill Burton "for using this as a chance to promote his campaign." Which could be true! I believe McCain used this national crisis as a chance to prove to the American people that he would be there for us in times of trouble. So what do you think? Is McCain taking advantage this crisis? Is he using this to persuade Senators to vote for him or does he truly have our needs at heart?

Is Obama really there for the American people?

As many of you know our economy is in danger! Of course with the upcoming election many of us have also been following the news on different candidates. I was very impressed when I heard that McCain was suspending his campaign to go to Washington to help straighten things out! Some candidates wouldn't think of cancelling their campaign for a day since there goal is to see how many people they can persuade to vote for them! I was really shocked when I found out that Obama was hesitant about halting his campaign and cancelling the debate Friday. This is the man that has said he is the "change" America needs but yet when our country is in crisis he won't go to the senate to help be the change he talks about! Also after bashing McCain for being in the senate for twenty-seven years and not doing anything you would think that Obama would take this opportunity to try and help our country get back on it's feet! How can he bash McCain for supposedly not doing anything in the senate when he himself won't go to Washington? This is a startling revelation! Is Obama really the change that America needs? Will he really be there for the American people and their needs if he is elected into the office?
