If your not interested in politics I doubt you are excited and anxious as I am about the Vice Presidential debates tonight. Many people will be evaluating Sarah Palin tonight to see whether or not she has enough experience to be President if needed. With her inexperience in national affairs and media coverage she has receive many criticisms. When McCain picked Palin to be his VP. I was one of the thousands I'm sure that didn't have a clue who she was but I think that McCain did a great job in picking her. Tonight her mission, according to Yahoo News is to "Halt Obama's momentum and erase concerns about her ability to stop into the top job if needed."
I believe that Palin could do the job. She is a strong woman, she demands respect from people, and she has confidence. I believe that she is firm enough that she would hold her ground and stand up for what she believed in. She has a wonderful personality. I was awed at her grace, pose, and beauty when I watched her speak on the Internet at the Republican Convention. Another thing I really like is the loving relationship she seems to have with her husband and kids(unlike Mrs. Clinton). I admire a lady that didn't abort her child when she knew that he was going to be a down syndrome baby. She also has a son in the military which means she could relate to all of us that have loved one's in the military and I believe she would support our troops and believes in the cause of the war. Another awesome thing that I really like is she can relate to the American people; her parents worked in an elementary school, she was a soccer Mom, she played sports and is an outdoor's person which is amazing. She is a member of the NRA so for all off us that don't want our gun rights taken away she is a great choice!
So do you think Palin will make it? Do you think she has what it takes to President if needed? Do you think McCain made a good choice in picking her as his VP?

There is no doubt in my mind that McCain picked the right person to be his running mate! I really think that she should be running for president and McCain should be the vice!! She is very refreshing in this day and age and I am looking forward to seeing what she can add to this election and hopefully to the presidency!
I think that no one knows who is best for the job. Sarah Palin has flaws, and lacks congressional experience. Obama even beats her on this one. Palin lacks the ability to handle direct pressure from left wing media. Overall, I am encouraged to see a conservative--the only conservative--on the ticket. However, I would call McCain's selection of Sarah Palin a political move that sends a message. Sadly, I do not think she was selected for her overwhelming qualifications.
Rev. Zach, I agree with you on the conservative part! I love the stand she takes on marriage, etc but Obama doesn't have the miltiary experience I think he should have if he would become Commander and Chief. We, as America, are fighting a serious war and McCain definitly has the experience that we need right now in the White House. I know Mrs. Palin might not have a lot of experince but she isn't the President, there is always the chance she would become the President but that is slim and I still think she could do but as for Obama he's the man in charge and he better know what he is doing.
